Trailer Dynamics
Trailer Dynamics offers a globally unique end-to-end solution for decarbonising and improving the efficiency of heavy-duty long-haul freight transport. To achieve this, the semi-trailer is fitted with an additional battery-electric powertrain. The eTrailer is synchronised with the tractor unit in real time, regardless of the manufacturer.
Lower fuel consumption, greater range
In diesel tractor units, it supports the primary drive and, depending on the terrain and payload, enables an average reduction in diesel consumption and CO₂ emissions of around 40 per cent. When used in combination with a battery-electric tractor unit, the eTrailer significantly increases the range (650–850 km), reduces or eliminates the need for recharging en route, and thus leads to significant time and cost savings in long-distance freight transport. The market launch (Series B Go-to-Market) has already been successfully completed. The start of series production of the Trailer Dynamics eTrailer is planned for the end of 2027.
